Surprising turn of events

We moved houses yet again?!

My brother and sister-in-law told us they were moving back to Tulsa; hooray!

Milestone Moments

Finding out the gender of the baby. It’s a boy! Hello Ivan Scott Hirshburg

Oliver was chosen to be apart of the dual language program with his best buds and now I am learning some Spanish along side him!

God provided buyers for our home right before the baby was born; financial sigh of relief. A miracle for us!

Lessons learned

I love having a smaller house now!!!!! Less to keep up with and not as overwhelming

I like when I have fewer clothing options; having basics that I love and can repeat is my favorite. Being pregnant with only a few clothing options affirmed this even more. “Less is more” rings very true for me.

Cutting out coffee from my diet really reduces anxiety. However, I’ve been back to drinking coffee during the holidays but hope to switch over to decaf tea again soon.

Goals Accomplished

I received many custom painting orders, keeping me painting throughout the year while making some profit too

Jeff completed his first and second triathlon. Watching him accomplish his goals inspires me!

I made it through the pregnancy!

I kept up pretty well with daily Bible reading.

a New Year’s blessing by emily p freeman

O God, remind us that ultimately, You are the clarity we long for, the answer we need, and the confidence we seek.

No matter how things turn out, You are our surest resolution.

As we stand on tip-toe and allow our eyes to gaze into the future of what might be, give us the assurance that you are with us in what is right now.

You always stand between us and every possible future. Dear new year, be gentle with us, we pray.
